Our Breeding Program
It is our goal to produce and raise quality pets that will become loving additions to your family. The early weeks of a puppies life can set it up for a lifetime of learning and love. From the moment puppies are born, we begin teaching them skills that will give them the ability to problem solve, meet and engage with new people, surroundings and things, confidence to face the unknown and emotional stability that will make them loving additions to your family. We use the Puppy Culture training program principals, get them started on crate training, potty training, navigating a dog door and socialization with other dogs, cats and people of all ages.
All of our dogs maintain regular veterinary care from, Dr. DeWayne Weaver and his staff at South Gate Veterinary Clinic. All of our dogs and puppies are up to date on vaccinations, de-wormings, heart-worm and flea/tick prevention. Dr. Weaver makes house calls to ensure the health of the puppies giving them their first examination and round of vaccinations.
We give our puppies a great foundation for learning, but it is up to the new owners to continue to teach their new family member. Well trained dogs are a delight to have around, they take time and training to produce. If you need help finding a local trainer we would be happy to help you find great options in your area.
Poodles and Doodles do require grooming. Due to their little to non-shedding coats (we can not guarantee coat type), they do not shed their coats like most animals. To keep the dogs comfortable and looking great, they require frequent combing to prevent matting. They also grow hair in their ears that needs to be managed. Keeping their ears clean and dry is essential to keeping ear infections away and keeping your poodle/doodle comfortable and healthy.
We provide a 1 year health guarantee against any genetic disorders up to the price paid for the puppy. Veterinary documentation and a second opinion (from Dr. Weaver) is required.
We do not guarantee adult size, coat, color or texture of any of the puppies. We do require you to take your puppy to your vet within 3 days of pickup for a health check.
